Sharp 5D miracle

Have you just spent $35,000 on integrating your home with a top of the line Bang and Olufsen home automation system, the biggest and slimmest flat screen, and the raddest custom theater seating? If you said yes, you should stop reading this now. Now if you haven’t, you are going to be blown away by what Sharp claims that will become the norm in our homes soon.

On April. 29th 2011, a theme park of Huis Ten Bosch Co., Ltd. in Sasebo City, Nagasaki Prefecture, Japan, opened the attraction called the ‘5D Miracle Tour’, a multi-screen walk-in display system. Sharp supplied the attraction with 156 units of the PN-V601 60-inch LCD monitor configured in five surfaces: a front wall, ceiling and floor (36 monitors each) and left and right walls (24 monitors each). The image content is 8 min. long, about Sirena, a Mermaid Legend from Saipan. An image transmission system controls all of the LCD monitors to give viewers a visually, crisp, life-like experience.

Sharp built another 3D “cube” at the ISE 2011 exhibition in Amsterdam. Watch how the amazing team built this cube experience with 64 Sharp PN-V601 60-inch LCD monitors. Amazing!

Now what do you think about your Man Cave?
